Adjuncts of the Club


The adjuncts are an important part of the Club's activities. As well as taking part in their own activities each takes a turn at running the weekly raffles.  A share of the raffle profit finances each group's activities.

Cards

         

The card players meet weekly on Tuesday and also visit other Clubs on a regular basis.

Club Wairarapa Rockers

Rock 'n' Roll is our newest adjunct and was formed early in 2018. They have an enthusiastic bunch of regulars and meet on Wednesday night. Beginners or experiences dancers = all welcome.

Darts            

Meet regularly in the Club on Mondays & Thursdays and have a team in the local Maungaraki darts competition

Golf            

The golf adjunct play regularly at the Mahunga course and frequently combine with the Cosmopolitan Club Golf section for competition and trips away.

 Indoor Bowls        

The bowlers meet from  1.30  to 3.45pm every Wednesday from April through to the end of September and afternoon tea is served. We play social bowls and all bowlers, young or old, are most welcome. Beginners or experienced can all fit in and we are all there to help each other and enjoy an afternoon of bowls.
Highlights each year include a Mid-Winter Christmas and end of season lunch and we also host bowls teams from other clubs.

Outdoor Bowls        Bowler
A group of keen lawn bowlers have recently formed this adjunct to foster the sport within the WSCC. The group will be playing at the Masterton Park Club and this will enable Club members to participate in NZ Chartered Club local and national events. New members very welcome.

Pool Section            

The Club has two pool tables available for social pool and also organises the Club competitions and regular visits to and from other clubs. Club night is Wednesday and the 'Two Dollar Pool' night operates on Fridays when there is no entertainment or Hurricanes match on TV.

RSA                 RSA picture hero
The Masterton RSA is an affiliated member of the Royal New Zealand Returned and Services Association and.is also an adjunct of the Wairarapa Services & Citizens Club.

The RSA  Executive Committee  are responsible for the administration of the assets of the Association as well as promoting and fostering RSA interests in the Wairarapa. Monthly social afternoons with a guest speaker are held at the Wairarapa Services & Citizen's Club from 1.30 to 3 pm on the 1st Thursday of each month. A good time to meet and greet.

Snooker            

Two snooker tables are available for friendly & enjoyable competition and social play. Annual championships are held and the adjunct has an ongoing ladder competition and two teams in the Southey Honda Interclub snooker league as well.
